Arrival by Airplane

From Euroairport Basel/Mulhouse (approx. 60 km from Freiburg):
On arrival make sure to use the French exit (not the Swiss one) to leave the airport. There is a shuttle bus service from the airport to Freiburg's main railway station. The trip takes about 50 minutes.

From Frankfurt airport (approx. 230 km from Freiburg):
Follow the signs towards "Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof" ("Frankfurt Airport Long Distance Railway Station"). Travelling to Freiburg takes about 2 hours by IC/ICE train.

From Zurich airport (approx. 150 km from Freiburg):
Travelling to Freiburg by train takes about 2 hours.

From Freiburg railway station

The bulding is located within a walking distance of about 5 minutes north of the Freiburg's main railway station (Hauptbahnhof). On arrival leave the building through the main entrance, turn left, cross the busy crossing (traffic lights) and walk down Stefan-Meier-Straße for about 150 meters. Then turn right through a walkway. At your left side you see the red building of the Mathematical Institute. The lecture room is located in the building at the fourth floor.
